Loose Ends

Loose Ends

On a photographic series of 24 images, Loose Ends explores the unresolved; the in-between, and the echoes of what is left behind. Each photograph captures fragments of narratives that never fully reveal themselves, inviting the viewer to piece together meaning from what remains unsaid. The work evokes Diane Arbus’s insight: “A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you, the less you know.” These images offer glimpses into fleeting moments and untold stories, yet their very specificity deepens the mystery. In revealing details, they obscure conclusions—challenging the notion that seeing is understanding.

If anything, the only connecting thread here is the intuitive act of photography, in which the author's impulses resonate undeciphered, leaving the observer with the adventure of interpretation—if interpretation is even necessary at all.
